In 1980 Carl Burry, Levi Burry, Selwyn Burry,
and Graham Linfield founded B & L Cold Storage Limited with
the original facility at Boyd’s Cove, NL; hence the name B
& L. During the 1990’s Graham Linfield became the sole
owner and operator of B & L and continues to operate at Boyd’s
Cove with customers from both the Island and Labrador.
In 2007 B & L made an aggressive acquisition of
a large state-of- the-art dry, cold and chilled storage facility
located at Lewisporte, NL. Lewisporte is ideally located in central
Newfoundland with its deepwater port, direct access to the Labrador
ferry service which docks in Lewisporte and with Gander’s
major international airport less than 45 minutes away. Today with
storage facilities in both Boyd’s Cove and Lewisporte open
weekdays 8 am to 5 pm and with after hours service available, B
& L is in a very competitive position to provide the most attractive
storage package to customers on the Island and Labrador with rates
              that will not be undercut.
